Admiring: my other half and his amazing ability to look on the bright side and juggle everything without complaint.
Sorting: out the closets in our house one by one.
Buying: new sheets and linen.
Getting: excited for beach days, outside dinners and camping trips.

Disliking: cleaning the house.
Opening: myself to some new ideas.
Giggling: with my girls.
Feeling: peace.
Snacking: on avocado with salt, pepper and cashews.
Coveting: a juicer and dehydrator.
Wishing: for the news to have more good stories than bad one day.
Helping: piper write her stories.
Hearing: poppy waking from a long post beach slumber.

We have been paying very close attention to the foods going into our bodies. Winter illnesses have been thick and ruling our home this year. Coupled with some issues of weighty proportions and a recent allergy/intolerance diagnosis have led to a 100% change in diet for us all. Packages are out and whole foods (or at least good old fashioned home cooking) in. My secret weapons include the farmers market, our veggie patch (and those of friends with kind hearts and green thumbs) and the following websites.

// tales of a recipe junkie // i follow tammi (one of the most lovely souls out there) on instagram and her real recipes make me drool and want to spend hours spinning in an apron in my kitchen (or perhaps with her in my kitchen and me devouring her goodies)
