top 5 for baby.

Here is the first of many inspiration lists I have been making for my little bug.
I am still unsure exactly which direction I am heading with style for the new nursery. Because we are waiting to see whether we have a bouncing girl or giggling boy I am tending towards the neutral palate. Grey, black, white, creams, beige and blues. Here are my top 5 choices {today} to decorate the nursery. They are not meant to be as a whole, bits and pieces as I decide which truly sing to me.
More to come very soon!

How beautiful is this cushion? Embroidered, 100% linen, filled with down feathers. made by coral & tusk found at sweet william ltd.

Cotton patchwork blanket by seed heritage.

I have seen this mobile pop up in a few spots lately. Not hard to see why it is being coveted, and is in my tops list. kidivisit zoo mobile.

Sweet cloud hooks by naughts & crosses. found at down that little lane.

This print is already on its way. I had a rough time when Piper was a newbie and something about these narwhales is soothing for me. from swanborough prints.

Thoughts?
Happy weekending, we are sipping super green blended juices {super green powder, apple, pineapple, ginger and pear} to get a start of Saturday fun.

round 2.

We just came home from a very lovely ultrasound. The one that tells us all the bits and pieces are there and working. Indeed a little bug is growing inside me!

I call him/her {yes, another surprise!} bug as it has been causing all sorts of aches in my tummy and beyond. I don't remember it being this hard when I was pregnant with Piper.

Then again I wasn't chasing a toddler...

Cue the first sleeping photo I have captured in a VERY, VERY LOOONNNGGGG time...

So the past few months have been all about survival! Sharing dry cereal with little miss in bed so as not to stand up too quickly every morning. Quiet cuddles on the sofa {which in reality usually end with a child climbing across my face as I wince}. Piper has also developed a habit of lifting the toilet lid and 'coughing' inside the bowl. They say imitation is the highest form...he he.

By all accounts she is ready to be a big sister, even showing her skills with a friend's wee one.

So all is very well indeed.

I am nervous and excited and calm and anxious all rolled into one. Mostly excited though.
I hope to spend more time around these parts as my energy increases.

Hope you are all well and sending much love your way.

p.s. I don't have proof of life. I do have some bump snaps and scratchy black and white photos where a form is just showing to those who know where to look. Will share both soon!
