stills // still here.

this past few weeks we have had illness galore, little sleep, and the general craving that the end of winter brings for the sun to hurry it's butt back into our lives. still, we found plenty of opportunity to suck the marrow out of this little thing called life.

1:: gulp. 7. months. already.
2:: her first macaroon. i think she liked it.
3:: pride at getting those pedals going. mr.dinosaur is following us EVERYWHERE this week.
4:: blurry. i love their faces here. they share slices of melon and giggle like they have some secret only they understand.
5:: two vintage finds this week. one little coral sweater for miss. poppy and a tiny shelf for miss. piper's treasures. how is it that as kids get older their toys get smaller, my house is one giant choking hazard.
6:: my favourite afternoon pick-me-up, with manuka honey and oat milk. warming and rejuvenating.

happy week to you.

Piper::  You love the ocean. Pants off {even in the freezing winter winds} and soak up the waves rippling over the shore. When we lie in bed at night and I ask you what we are going to do in the morning you answer "go to the beach," never a hesitation in your  voice. I am generally more than happy to oblige.
Poppy:: Your big sister, she is the apple of your eyes.

Piper::  Another Saturday, another crazy party. This time mommy was busy sipping coffee with friends and discovered you with a tray of cupcakes eating the fluro blue {yes, after seeing these that colour of fluro does exist!} icing off the top of each. It seems you have developed mom's penchant for sugar. Following the party you were discovered half hanging off your bed with a blue mouth, a tutu and a dream in process. Party hard princess.

Poppy:: Sleepy smiles. I imagine you are dreaming of your sister tickling you, often and ever so madly.

Piper:: Today was one of your most favourite friend's birthday party. You woke up and were so upset as you thought we had missed it. You danced your heart out and ran amok. Those tired eyes tell the story. Your pillow was covered in sparkles and black face paint moments after this photo was taken.

Poppy:: You have been training for the baby olympics. Twisting and spinning 360 degress and digging your toes into the mat like it's your business. This is one of the moments you pause to chat with us before continuing your endless regime.
