Sometimes even with the best intentions I can't find the time {energy} to make healthy treats at home. We are a fruit toast family over here. Simple is best, toasted with butter. Occasionally drizzled with honey.
Baker's Delight gifted us with some samples loaves and rolls of their new chia and fruit loaf. No added sugar and the goodness of chia are a good thing when you need a sweet treat.
P was all over them, the first photo is from just next to the shop where she subtly {nearly throwing herself down on the floor} begged me for some "raisin bread" and woofed it down as was straight from the bag.
Breakfast the next morning was more sneaky. Note hand swiping hot, buttery bread. Can't blame her.
Wanna try some too? I have 2 prizes up for grabs.
1. 2 x $10 vouchers for any baker's delight treats.
2. 1 x $10 voucher for any baker's delight treats.
Leave a comment below with how you like your fruit toast, or even just say hello and I will put your name in. Will draw next Wednesday morning.

ReplyDeleteCumquat jam is something I have never {and mean to} try. I have heard nothing but goodness about it! Xx
DeleteI love my raisin toast slightly cooled, before topping it with lashings of real butter (made from my parents' dairy cows) and a hot cup of tea. That's if my little man hasn't already swiped the loaf from the supermarket trolley while grocery shopping and scoffed it.
ReplyDeleteOhh my turn! I love mine slighly undercooked so the fruit is still juicy with heaps of marg all melted xxxx
ReplyDeleteLotsa love Amanda from Amanda's Mummy Jeans xxxx

Hello I love to start my day with fruit toast with lots of butter and cinnamon.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of fruit toast but my daughter definately is! So this entry is for her :) She likes it toatsed with lots of butter. She'll pick off all the fruit bits (esp raisins) one by one and eat them and then eats the bread - minus the crusts (we're working on that)! Takes her quite some time to get therough it but I can just tell that she enjoys every moment of her morning toast!
